What is a movement and strength coach?
We define a movement and strength coach as highly-specialized trainer who has advanced education in injury prevention and rehab, movement analysis, mobility training and body composition transformation. An evolved personal trainer if you will☺
Do you offer movement assessments for athletes?
Yes, all of our coaches are certified in movement screens and assessments. We would love for all athletes, or any person that may be interested, to schedule an appointment for an assessment. Following the assessment we can educate you in proper self care or continue to work together to improve your movement, strength and conditioning.
Can I make an appointment for manual therapy without an injury?
Yes! Our physical therapists use manual therapy with immaculate precision for injury healing, prevention and maintenance, as well as for recovery, relaxation, wellbeing and working out any ache or pain. Our goal is to offer physical therapy as a lifestyle approach for health and wellness.
Do you have showers?
Yes! We have a beautiful luxury shower available for our clients and a private space equipped with all that you need to take on NYC days and nights- think toiletries, straighteners, hair dryers, and even a portable clothes steamer. We have got you covered, and if we do not have an item you need, please let us know and we will make it available.
Do you have lockers?
Your belonging will be safe while you use the space in a locker of your choosing. All of our lockers have built in locks.
Do you take insurance for Physical Therapy?
In order for us to maintain the highest standard of care, we are not able to acceptinsurance. However, for any appointment under the care of a physical therapist we can provide an invoice that can be submitted for out of network reimbursement.
Do I have to be injured to make an appointment?
No! While we are experts in physical therapy and can care for any of your injury needs, we encourage you to come see us as a regular part of your lifestyle and recovery routine. Every client goes through frequent assessments and movement screens that can detect irregularities before they result in injury. Through customized programming and movement optimization, we can help you mitigate injuries and maximize results in all of your physical pursuits.
Do I need a script to work with a physical therapist?
No, NY is a direct access state. This means that we can see you for physical therapy for ten visits or 30 days without a doctor’s prescription. After this time if a prescription is needed we will request you obtain one from your personal doctor or provide you with recommendations for who is best to see to get what you need.
Can I come to workout?
You can schedule a session with one of our highly-skilled coaches. We do not offer open gym memberships or daily passes.

For training sessions please wear athletic attire or whatever you find most comfortable as you move and swea. For physical therapy appointments please dress comfortably and in moveable clothing.
How long are sessions?
All session last approximately 50 minutes.
Do you offer packages?
Yes, in addition to single sessions, we have packages of ten and twenty sessions available for both manual therapy and personal training.
*Packages expire within twelve months and we have a no refund policy. We will do all we can to accommodate your schedule needs so purchased packages are always able to be put to use. If your trainer or time needed is not available, we will set you up with someone else or find an alternative scheduling option.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that clients provide 24 hour notice for all cancellations and rescheduling requests to avoid a session charge. We understand life happens, so please always communicate with us so we can accommodate to the best of our abilities; we will always aim to do the same.
What can I expect of my first appointment?
We want to maximize our time spent with you so please make an effort to arrive at least ten minutes early to complete any simple paperwork that may be required. If you want to get this out of the way in advance, here is a link to get it done.
Your coach or your therapist will take you through a movement screen/assessment and discuss recommendations for your training or manual therapy needs.
After the first appointment, your trainer or therapist will design a program specially for you. Your trainer and therapist (if you are seeing both) will collaborate throughout your experience and adjust your program based on how you are evolving.
How can I contact you?
Please see our contact page for all relevant information. (inset link)
Your trainer or therapist will also provide you with their direct contact information so that you can stay connected one-on-one as needed. (our passion is to be there for you however you need).
What do follow up sessions consist of?
Work will be concentrated on the findings of the initial assessment and ongoing screens that take place at each appointment. Our physical therapists and coaches will progress your program based on your results and need for physical therapy vs coaching. Our team is your team and we will be communicating behind the scenes constantly for a seamless cohesion between the two specialties.
Testimonials
“I have worked with Corinne and Dariusz on a number of occasions both on injury and movement training, the results have been very impressive. Over the years in addition to helping my own body I have sent many friends, family and colleagues to them. As a founder of Catch Hospitality Group and Rumble Boxing, our teams wellbeing is vital to our business and Corinne and Dariusz are the go-tos I trust with these important people in my life. I believe what they do is not only something that helps you heal from injuries and compliments your workouts, but is a pre-pain approach to keep you healthy and strong.”
Eugene RemmCo-founder | Catch Hospitality GroupCo-founder | Rumble Boxing“Corinne and Darius aren’t your typical entrepreneurs in the wellness world. They are so much more than that. Yes. They work on your mobility and strength. Yes. They work on you as an individual. But it doesn’t stop there. When I first went to Corrine and Darius, I felt like I was talking with detectives. They wanted to know everything about my prior injuries; everything about my prior surgeries; everything about my current life and everything about my current goals. I was beside myself. Typically its you go in. You get a consult. They read the surgeon report / script. Boom. You’re given exercises with limited instruction. Not these two. They break it down for you. Step by step. The importance of the mechanics of what you are doing. They are just good people. They are knowledgeable. They are passionate. And they genuinely care about you. These two have changed my life in so many ways, both professionally and personally, I’d never entertain the idea of using another group!!”
Joseph Mongeluzzi | Director of Catch Nightlife Catch Hospitality GroupI came to Corrine & Dariusz in 2016 with a hip impingement, L4/L5 disc issue, and sciatica. I have always been a hyper active fitness person which ended up getting me into trouble with major imbalances and overuse. I had spent 4 years working with doctors and other physical therapist on my spine and sciatica issue, including a steroid injection which was only temporary. Through trusting Corrine & Dariusz’s interconnected method of PT and training I was able to get back to full activity in months. I have since stayed working with them both for PT maintenance and training 2-3 days a week as I feel their methods will allow me to train and be as active as I want to be for my life. They have taught me how to listen to my body and given me a toolkit of exercises and stretches integrated into my activities to facilitate continued overall functional health.
